Learn Meditation Techniques

Learning meditation is really a very easy and simple exercise. When you meditate on a daily basis, you get certain advantages to your wellbeing- It makes you relaxed and also reduces your stress level.

There are certain steps you need to make when you are meditating to achieve the best result.

Put on a soft music, wear light comfortable clothing that wont distract your concentration, take your phone off the hook and switch off your cell phone. This ensures you dont get any distractions of any kind.

Get a comfortable chair in a quiet place to sit, cross your legs and place your palms on your thighs facing up. Close your eyes for a few seconds and slowly inhale, hold your breath a few seconds, then exhale. This relaxes you.

This exercise should begin to relax you and remove stress. The next activity is to picture yourself where you would like to be, either where you were for the day or any other place where you would derive pleasure at, the beach, an island getaway, or anywhere that you look forward to.

Continue to breath deeply with a relaxed mind and after about 30 seconds, start your breathing exercises again. Dont get distracted with outside thoughts, just get back to the picture in your mind and focus on it. This will refresh and re-energise you. Meditation Works!!
